6 ingredients are very easy to drop down when you have as much as 50 moves to do it. However, with the presence of three chocolate fountains in Candy Crush level 164, you’d need much of your moves for matters other than dropping ingredients down. Fountains pose a big threat not only because they spew out annoying chocolate spawns every so often, but more so because every chocolate fountain is a stuck zone for ingredients. When ingredients fall on top of fountains, they could be very hard to remove from there. All in all, this level still is bearable with the help of the following tips and strategies:
1. Avoid aligning your ingredients with chocolate fountains:
As mentioned earlier, they could get stuck there, so better swap them to other columns when you find out that they spawned in a column that has a chocolate fountain in it. Don’t let them hit rock bottom before you switch them; do it while they’re still up there.
2. Align ingredients in one column:
Two or three ingredients in the same column are easy to drop down, so try to get them to align.Remember not to do this on columns that have chocolate fountains, though.
3. Check the chocolate situation:
Do not let them spread too much. If possible, clear chocolates as soon as they spawn.
4. Mix and match special candies:
Vertical stripes work with ingredients well as usual, so try to get them and also try to pair them with other special candies like striped and wrapped ones.
5. Have fun crushing candies, but don’t forget to claim one free booster today!
