Level 256 is a hard one and for various reasons. Aside from the fact that you only have 25 moves to clear out a total of 36 double layered jellies, the board is also divided in half vertically, so you basically have the left side containing jellies and the right side containing the elements that can help you clear the jellies. These come in the form of 12 jelly fish that are hidden by a layer of marmalade and positioned under a row of cupcake blockers that you need to clear first. The weird thing is that no new candies would spawn from the left side until after you’ve released some of the jelly fish:
1. Choose a friendly board:
A friendly board in this level is one that has a lot of available moves on the left side of the board. The goal is to clear out manually as much jellies as possible before activating jelly fish. The goal is to not waste the effects of the jelly fish on jellies you can manually take out.
2. Make combinations on the left side of the board first:
Try to get a special combination on the left side such as a color bomb + striped candy combination is possible. A pair of wrapped candies works as well. Just make sure you exhaust all moves on the left pane before you activate the jelly fish.
3. Work on releasing the jelly fish:
Once you’ve exhausted all moves available on the left pane, clear out the cupcake blockers on the right side so your jelly fish would be accessible. Release all the jelly fish and let them take care of the few remaining jellies.
4. Don’t forget to pick up one free booster from the spinning wheel, okay?
