Level 279 is a really deceiving level. It looks pretty and simple on the onset, but it really is a challenging one to beat. There are three jellies at the bottom of the board that may prove to be really hard to clear. Fortunately, there is one jelly fish given for free. You can use this to clear the three jellies at the bottom. It’s still not easy because there are candy bombs that spawn often in this level. You have to detonate those and clear jellies at the same time. There are only 5 colors on screen, but the board is somewhat limited so special candies could be few and far in between in this level. For effective tips and strategies for this level, read on:
1. Break through the meringue:
The meringues also hide jellies, so make sure you clear them immediately since they are five-layered. Just make regular combos adjacent to them and you’d be good.
2. Be mindful of the bombs:
Since the board in this level is limited, you’d have to detonate bombs as soon as they appear because once they slip off to hard-to-reach corners, they’d become bigger pains.
3. Clear all jellies on the upper portion of the board before activating the jelly fish:
The three jellies at the bottom of the board are very hard to reach without the help of the jelly fish so make sure those three are the only ones left when you activate the jelly fish.
4. Have fun crushing jellies, but don’t forget to pick up one free booster from the spinning wheel today!
