5-layer meringues become more annoying than ever before in Candy Crush level 288. Some of them are isolated in two rows at the bottom of the board, so adjacent moves cannot really help there. Fortunately, there are 5 horizontally striped candies adjacent to the isolated meringues that are positioned in a way that when you detonate one, all the others will also activate, clearing most layers of the meringue. You’ve got to be careful, though, since there are 5 dead zones and 4 exit points. For effective tips and strategies on how to work around these hurdles, read on:
1. Set off the striped candies adjacent to the isolated blockers:
Set one off and the rest would also activate. Use a vertical stripe to detonate one and you’d be good for the rest of the level.
2. Know how the board works:
Not all columns have exit points, and it is very important that you move your ingredients away from stuck zones. Be conscious all the time where your ingredients are and make sure they are within the good columns at all times.
3. Use special candy combinations:
A color bomb + striped candy combination would be the most and only useful special combo in this level.
4. Have fun! Good luck in this level, and good luck in trying to hit the jackpot on the free booster wheel!
