Available Moves: 25 moves
Goal: Clear all jelly (72 single coated jelly frames)
Target Score: 70,000 points
Two Stars: 100,000 points
Three Stars: 120,000 points
It is easy to fail the level since there are a lot of jellies to clear with only 25 moves. Licorice swirls would be very annoying in this level primarily because they absorb the power of striped candies, and they also attract jelly fish. There are 10 jelly fish given for free at the start of the level, and once they are freed from their marmalade covers, they would be able to clear 30 jellies instantly. Even so, 42 jellies is a lot to clear, so you’d still need to make a number of special candies to help you out. With all 6 colors on screen, these may be hard to catch. It really is important to remember the following strategies when taking on this level:
1. Keep the licorice situation manageable:
Prioritize moves that would clear a number of licorices swirls so that they could be taken out ofthe equation. Combinations made in between columns of licorice would be best.
2. Unleash jelly fish when there are a few licorice on board:
This would make sure that the jelly fish would take out jellies, and not licorice swirls. Try to maximize time when there is no licorice on board.
3. Make special candies:
Aside from taking advantage of the cascade effect, working from the bottom is another good strategy. Color bombs may be hard to find in this level, so try getting a wrapped + striped candy combination.
